Kepler will build its small satellites at a new manufacturing facility in Toronto
Bringing satellite production in-house puts Kepler in uncommon company as one of the few small sat business that owns the entire stack, which must be a huge competitive benefit relative to the market going forward. In terms of when the center will be putting out satellites that Kepler prepares to actually launch, the company currently plans to introduce its final presentation satellite, which is currently built under its previous contractor arrangement, this spring. It plans to introduce the very first industrial satellites produced by this brand-new center starting this summer, with an extra 2 launches planned for later on in the year.
