Microsoft announces its first Azure data center region in Taiwan
“Our new investment in Taiwan reflects our faith in its strong heritage of hardware and software integration,” stated Jean-Phillippe Courtois, executive vice president and president, Microsoft Global Sales, Marketing and Operations. The brand-new area will use access to the core Microsoft Azure services. That’s pretty much Microsoft’s playbook for releasing all of its brand-new regions these days.
